On 4 June 2025, Frankfurt’s city centre once again became the stage for Europe’s biggest corporate run: the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge brought together over 64,000 participants from some 2,200 companies. And right in the middle of it all: the OpernTurm community. Whether running the course or cheering from the sidelines, our teams brought energy and enthusiasm to the 5.6-kilometre route – and later to the after-run BBQ at OpernTurm, where team spirit was truly alive.
After the race, the OpernTurm Lounge and rooftop terrace transformed into what was arguably the city’s finest after-run spot – with a light breeze, skyline views and perfect summer weather.
Culinary highlights came courtesy of the team from Consortium, the building’s restaurant and lounge operator, who served a creative street food mix: pulled beef & edamame burgers, loaded fries with chilli sin carne, hot dogs and pinsa. Fine drinks and laid-back beats from DJane Elisa Cielo set the tone for a relaxed and sociable evening.
Beyond the sport and celebration, the event also stood for a good cause: each year, part of the entry fees goes to social projects, with a particular focus on supporting para sport – a tradition that gives the run its lasting significance.
