On 12 May, the forecourt of the OpernTurm was graced by a Piaggio Porter featuring a mobile espresso bar. Five charming baristas from the 46PLUS initiative spoiled the OpernTurm employees for choice with fine coffee specialties.
46PLUS is committed to the inclusion of children and adolescents with trisomy 21. The Stuttgart-based association aims to provide information about Down syndrome and reduce anxieties around contact. The 46PLUS espresso truck with the cool baristas also recently served as a meeting point fostering communication at the OpernTurm. Allen & Overy, supported by OpernTurm, invited all employees from the office tower to enjoy a coffee break on the forecourt. Be it classic Italian coffee specialties, tea, or hot chocolate – all visitors received a delicious hot drink of their choice, lovingly prepared by the passionate baristas under the motto “Coffee & Smiles”.
Incidentally, you can also rent the 46Plus espresso truck to help bring about positive interactions at events and celebrations – because nothing gets the conversation going like a good cappuccino.
We would like to thank Allen & Overy for their great initiative as well as 46PLUS for the fantastic coffee break!
