In December 2025, OpernTurm embraced the festive season in style. A magnificently decorated Christmas tree in the lobby and an atmospheric Christmas market on the forecourt created a truly special year-end setting, bringing the OpernTurm community and its guests together in the run-up to Christmas and the New Year.
A radiant focal point in the lobby
A longstanding festive highlight was the Christmas tree in the lobby. Installed in early December and lavishly decorated by Frankfurt floral design studio Blütesiegel, it once again became a radiant focal point of the building. Visible from afar through the large entrance windows, it also made a striking statement beyond the lobby, accompanying visitors and everyone at OpernTurm throughout December. A symbol of appreciation, openness and shared experience.
A Christmas market with heart – community, family & friends
Another highlight was the two-day Christmas market on the OpernTurm forecourt. With “Community, Family & Friends” at its heart, it created a thoughtfully designed gathering place for everyone who wanted to celebrate the Advent season together – whether working in the building, visiting with family or simply stopping by.
Rustic wooden chalets, mulled wine from Schorlefranz, freshly made crêpes and waffles from Eis4Rent, and an elegant black food truck from 11. Generation serving classic and vegetarian bratwurst brought plenty of festive flavour. The winter game Ice Cube Shuffle added to the experience, alongside illuminated Christmas trees, seasonal music and countless fairy lights. The forecourt was transformed into a small winter wonderland in the heart of the city – a place of warmth, connection and festive cheer.
