Christmas Wishing Tree Campaign 2020

Giving joy, especially in the days of the pandemic: In 2020, the members of Verein der Freunde des OpernTurms e.V again supported the Christmas gifting initiative for children from Frankfurt. Goethe University Scholarship Programme 2020

We have been supporting students in the framework of the Deutschlandstipendiums scholarship programme for the last four years. In 2020, two scholarships were again bestowed at the awards ceremony by Verein der Freunde des OpernTurms e.V., one each for two young persons. Railway Mission 2020

Opernspiele 2020

A place for kids to play, even in the days of the pandemic: A comprehensive hygiene concept made it possible despite Covid-19. This year, the Opernspiele were carried out together with the Mainspiele on the banks of the River Main. Live Music Now – the sound of clarinets

The “Klarimädels” delighted learners at a Frankfurt special-needs school and residents of a retirement home in Frankfurt’s Sachsenhausen district with ragtime sounds and Mozart’s “Eine kleine Nachtmusik”. Verein der Freunde des OpernTurms e.V. sponsored a total of 10 concerts by the young musicians in social institutions in the context of the Yehudi Menuhin – Live Music Now initiative. © Yehudi Menuhin-Live Music Now
