Christmas Wishing Tree Campaign 2022

A total of 53 children and teenagers from the transitioning residence on Flinschstrasse in Frankfurt’s Seckbach district, run by Frankfurt’s Protestant Regional Association, received a gift from Father Christmas himself. Goethe University Scholarship Programme 2022

As in the previous years, Verein der Feunde des OpernTurms e.V. supported two scholarship holders at Goethe University in Frankfurt for the winter semester 2022-2023 and the subsequent summer semester. Cäcilienchor Frankfurt

On 23 October, Frankfurt’s Cäcilienchor, the second oldest concert choir in Germany, delighted its audience in the Alte Oper with an oratorio by César Franck: “Les Béatitudes”. Science Slam Frankfurt

Young scientists present their research projects in an unconventional way in a stage presentation at the Science Slam. The event held on 24 September by the Physikalischer Verein Frankfurt at the Goethe University was supported by Verein der Freunde des OpernTurms e.V. The winner of the 2022 event was Christoph Wiedemer. He was awarded the “Bembel of wisdom” for his presentation. © Jan Michel

Opernspiele 2022

Back to the Opernplatz: After having been moved in 2020 and 2021, in 2022 the games returned to their original location. Stoffel Festival 2022

After a forced two-year hiatus due to Corona, the Stoffel returned! Around 500 guests danced and jived in midsummer temperatures at the opening concert of the “Stalburg Offen Luft” festival. Railway Mission 2022

While some doors stayed closed during the pandemic, the Railway Mission kept its own open. Since the start of the war in February 2022 it has become a contact point for hundreds of refugees from Ukraine every day. Live Music Now – Cello meets Piano

The KLang-Duo of Ugne Che-Wei Kuo on the violoncello and Shenzi Liang on the piano played at the nursing and retirement home August-Stunz-Zentrum in Frankfurt on 22 March.
